Best way to start learning a Rubik cube (to be continued)

Try using this app

It shows you the basic notation of the Rubik’s cube and the steps are very easy to understand. Once you mastered the 3×3 you can try to time yourself as the timer is also included in the app.

PRO TIP: After you have mastered the notation that was shown, try to draw it on a piece of paper. Later when you learn an algorithm, redraw every algorithm. So later on, you can look at the paper and try to memorize the algorithm easily.

Common solving methods: LBL(Layer by Layer) , CFOP (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL)

Mastering the fundamentals

After you’ve memorized and know how to solve the Rubik cube, the best thing to learn next is to turn faster. Most of us “cubers” will call this finger trick where you use your finger to turn the cube faster. I have a cool trick that will help turn faster by mastering the four moves sequence.

I call it the “Righty move” . Basically, hold the right side of the rubiks cube, and turn it up, the top layer to the left, the right side down, and top layer to the right. Keep repeating this, and soon increase speed over time.
